Bitcoin dips below $11k again as altcoins see further losses

Bitcoin’s rally seems to have been halted once again as the king cryptocurrency has dipped below $11,000 again. Altcoins aren’t faring much better with a handful of projects recording double-digit losses.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $10,868.72, a decline of 5.25% over the last 24 hours with almost 3% of that happening in the last few minutes. Ethereum is down over 9% to $254.72 while Bitcoin SV is recording the single biggest losses of all the top 10s with 12.66% in the red. BSV is now trading at $139.45.

Meanwhile, XRP, Bitcoin Cash and Binance Coin are all down over 4%. XRP is trading at $0.319 while BCH and BNB are trading at $328.65 and $30.29 respectively.
The top 20 aren’t doing a whole lot better. Cardano and Cosmos are over 8% in the red to $0.063 and $4.03 respectively, while NEO slips to $13.30, down 9.84% over 24 hours. Meanwhile, IOTA drops just over 7% to $0.322 while Stellar slips 5.50% to $0.090.
Other projects with notable losses include Chain down 18.78%, OmiseGo and Ravencoin both dropping over 12%, Komodo with 15% in the red and Qubitica recording the single biggest loss with 23.19%.
ICON is today’s top earner soaring an astronomical 51.10% over 24 hours. IXC is now trading at $0.46. Total market cap is sitting at $296.1 billion, with Bitcoin’s dominance remaining relatively steady at 65.4%.
